MayDay: Oyedele Commends Nigerian Workforce, Tells Ondo Workers Better Days are Coming
A frontline governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State and Executive Director (Engineering and Technical Services), Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited, Ife Oyedele (FNSE), has facilitated with Nigerian workers on this year’s Workers’ Day.
Oyedele, who described Nigerian workers as one of the most resilient and diligent workforces in the world, said they are the engine room that propels the day to day activities of the country which has ensured socio-economic growth and development of the Nation.
In his statement through his media aide, Yomi Adebayo, Oyedele said Nigerian workers have shown tremendous commitment to the development of the country, saying it is their commitment to service and relentless zeal for nation-building that has made Nigeria one of the economically viable country in the world.
“Nigerian workers have shown undaunted sacrifice to the development of this Nation even in the light of the prevailing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic that is presently ravaging the world”. Oyedele said.
He particularly commended workers in Ondo State for their patience and sacrifice in the face of economic hardship and assured them that better days are coming soon.
Oyedele also praised the patriotism of the frontline workers who are leading the fight against the ravaging Coronavirus, urging Nigerians to always pray for them and support their effort by taking precautionary measures advised by the healthcare experts to curb the spread of the disease.
The governship hopeful promised that his government will prioritize workers’ welfare if elected as the next Governor of Ondo State.
